Have your say on developments to the Carmuirs area!

Aug 8, 2022

If you live in or near the Camelon area of Falkirk, we’re looking for your views on what improvements you’d like to see in the local area. The Carmuirs Development Project is looking at options for the development of land around Camelon Juniors FC car park and the old Brown Street Park. Throughout August and September, the Tidy, Clean and Green community group and Our Place Camelon and Tamfourhill are running a series of events in the Carmuirs area of Camelon.

One event has already taken place. On Friday 5 August, an environmental art session was run by community artist Sarah Frood and Canal College in the Camelon Juniors car park. People who came along had their say on where they would like to see more art and design in the community, what spaces could do with a bit more colour and where there could be improved opportunities for play.

There are three more events planned for August.
