The Carmuirs Development Project is looking at options for the development of land around Camelon Juniors FC car park and the old Brown Street Park.
Easter Carmuirs Park in the canal-side community of Camelon is one of the largest areas of parkland in the area and a key local landmark. We want more people to use it and benefit from having access to it.
A new Repair Shop is being created by Falkirk-based canal charity Go Forth & Clyde. The new Repair Shop will help train members of Falkirk communities along the Forth and Clyde Canal in skills such as woodwork, bike maintenance, crafts, and canal and boating skills.
Did you know that our local canals are kept moving by a team of volunteer lock keepers? These lock keepers play a vital role keeping boats sailing smoothly along Falkirk’s beautiful waterways.
Free Climate Emergency Training is being offered by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful for people who live or work in the Falkirk Council area, until the end of June.
